Today I went to a fashion networking night with Victoria at the White Cloth Gallery hosted by Lamberts Yard. There was an array of speakers informing fashion students and creatives on how to thrive in the industry and the importance of a brand for consumers to relate to. I found this event really beneficial in helping me understand the process of how a fashion brand works and was really interesting to see.

Although the event was mainly for emerging fashion designers the information was still very relevant to my practice and interest in branding.

From the speakers I really felt that Sharon's really helped in considering how to brand an item and the timescale in which it needs to be promoted. I took her business card and will look forward to contacting her agency, for a possible visit.
